On 5th June 2025, Team EIL commemorated World Environment Day at their Gurugram Office Complex, emphasizing the urgent need to combat pollution and protect the Earth’s ecosystems. The celebrations began with tree planting, followed by the lighting of a ceremonial lamp and the showcasing of awareness audio-visuals focused on environmental preservation and climate change mitigation. CMD EIL, Ms. Vartika Shukla, highlighted the significance of the theme “Ending Plastic Pollution,” urging for collective action to reduce single-use plastics and advocating modest lifestyle changes to address environmental challenges. Prizes were distributed to winners and participants of various competitions held to foster environmental awareness among stakeholders, reinforcing EIL’s commitment to sustainability and ecological responsibility.
