Kolkata: Demonstrating its strong commitment to sustainability and environmental excellence, Team Mejia Thermal Power Station (MTPS) of the Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has been honoured at the National Waste Management Summit, organised by the Centre for Enviro Excellence (CEE), New Delhi, under the category “Fly Ash Utilisation – Best Practices.” This prestigious award acknowledges DVC’s continuous efforts toward innovative and responsible utilisation of fly ash, reinforcing its dedication to sustainable operations and environmental stewardship. Ms. Kalyani Pyne, Senior Manager, MTPS, received the award on behalf of Team MTPS.
