Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a drone manufacturing company and an engine test facility centre in Noida today. While addressing the gathering, the Defence Minister said that drones are an important part of modern warfare strategy nowadays. Mr Singh emphasized the need to strengthen the concept of Aatma nirbhar Bharat in the defence sector. He said that this initiative is expected to generate over 5,000 job opportunities in the region.
The Defence Minister further said that Operation Sindoor, is a result of determination, courage, and science. He stated that it is not only a testament to the bravery of Indian soldiers, but also proves the calibre of scientific innovations of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that a nation becomes strong only with the coordination of arms and knowledge. He said Uttar Pradesh is playing a leading role in defence production.
