The interaction proved to be a valuable learning experience, enriched by the collective expertise and perspectives of distinguished leaders from policy, academia and industry.
During the discussion, Prof. Sahasrabudhe, Dr. Shukla and Dr. Suresh emphasized the need for strong convergence between policymakers, academic institutions and industry to build a future-ready cybersecurity workforce with practical skills, research depth and global exposure. The session highlighted that collaborative programmes, experiential learning models, international partnerships and industry-aligned curricula are critical in shaping India as a global creator—rather than just a consumer—of cybersecurity solutions. It further underlined that academia must evolve in step with emerging technologies and global cyber standards to ensure students are both job-ready and innovation-ready.
