The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is observing *National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, October 2025* under the national theme, with a series of activities to promote cyber awareness. As part of the observance, an event was organized at Metro Bhawan on 15th October 2025, inaugurated by DMRC Managing Director Dr. Vikas Kumar in the presence of Directors and senior officials. Dr. Sanjay Bahl, DG, CERT-In, delivered the keynote address highlighting cyber hygiene, digital footprints, regular audits, Defense-in-Depth strategies, and the DPDP Act. Following the inauguration, DMRC hosted the 2nd Annual Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) Roundtable, chaired by Shri Suvashis Choudhary, IPS (Retd.), with participation from cybersecurity representatives of various organizations including PGCIL, BEL, DFCCIL, SEBI, and Tata Power. The roundtable discussed key topics such as cybersecurity audits, IT-OT convergence, patch management, supply chain risks, SOC operations, cybersecurity standards, and the need for indigenous R&D in the field.
