SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) recognized outstanding contributions in various domains at the Annual Performance Review and Award Function held at Gopabandhu Auditorium on 1st April. Mr. Alok Verma, Director In-Charge (DIC), RSP presented the prestigious DIC’s Special Recognition Awards to the teams for their outstanding contributions in various operational and administrative fields demonstrating excellence in innovation, efficiency, and strategic implementation.
Sintering Plant – 3, Captive Power Plant-1 and Design Department were awarded for Implementation of Waste Heat Recovery System facilitating reduction of coke breeze.
Similarly Blast Furnace and Energy Management Department received the award for Commissioning of Mixed Gas Enrichment in Hot Blast Stoves of BF-1 and Additional Nitrogen Line in PCI System of BF-5.
Materials Management Department, Barsua Iron Mines, Bolani Ore Mines and C&IT Departments were awarded for 100% SAP Implementation in Mines for MM Functions.
For smoothly facilitating Pension on Higher Wages the Finance and Accounts, Human Resource and C&IT teams were awarded.
The recognition highlighted RSP’s commitment to driving efficiency, digitalization, and employee welfare across its operations.
