Delhi Metro’s Blue Line secures carbon neutral certification

Delhi Metro’s Blue Line, which connects Yamuna Bank with Vaishali in Ghaziabad, has been awarded carbon neutral certification, marking a significant achievement for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). Officials announced this milestone on Sunday, emphasizing DMRC’s ongoing commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and combating climate change.

This certification comes after DMRC previously secured carbon-neutral certification for its corporate headquarters at Metro Bhawan and the staff quarters located in Sector-50, Noida. The initiative aligns with the government’s objective of reaching net zero emissions by 2070, reflecting DMRC’s dedication to sustainability.
