The Delhi Metro on Friday unveiled an indigenous Crew Management System (CMS) software tailored for its 1200 train operators and associated tasks. This system will eradicate the necessity for manual updates, resulting in an annual saving of five lakh paper pages.The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) managing director Vikas Kumar launched the CMS at Yamuna Bank Metro station.
As per DMRC, the CMS will lead to an elimination of manual updates and register maintenance will reduce time and effort, which will result in saving approximately five lakh pages annually, equivalent to preserving 417 trees.
