A prize distribution function was organised at Dr. A N Khosla DAV Public School, Near Basanti Colony on 22nd October, 2024 by the Vigilance Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant as a part of the observance of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024. Mr Subrata Praharaj, CGM (Vigilance) & ACVO was the Chief Guest of the function and handed over the prizes to the winners of various competitions held earlier. Present on the occasion were Mr. Manoj Agarwal, GM (Vigilance), Mr. Lokenath Pradhan, Prinicpal, DAV Public School and other teachers of the school and officials of Vigilance Deptt.
Integrity pledge was administered to the students of DAV Public School by Mr. Praharaj. Mr. Goutam Kumar Das, Vigilance Inspector recited a vigilance awareness poem during the function. The first, second and third winners of various competitions were awarded during the function. The award function was anchored by Mr. Abhayakant Choudhary, Teacher of DAV Public School.
A similar function was also organised at Ispat English Medium School, Sector – 20 on 21st October 2024. CGM (Vigilance) & ACVO was the Chief Guest of the function and handed over the prizes to the winners of various competitions held earlier. Present on the occasion were Mr. T G Kanekar, GM In-Charge (Town Services), Dr. Sushreeta Das, Prinicpal, IEMS, Sec-20 and other teachers of the school and officials of Vigilance Deptt. The award function was anchored by Ms. Supriya Barua, Teacher of IEMS.
In another function, Quiz and Elocution Competitions were organised for the students of Delhi Public School, Sector -14 on 23rd and 24th October respectively, in which more than 120 students took part.
