COAL INDIA announce the setting up of the registered office of Bharat Coal Gasification & Chemicals Limited (BCGCL), a subsidiary of Coal India at Lakhanpur, Odisha.
BCGCL is a private limited company with Coal India holding 51% and BHEL 49% stake. BCGCL will engage in the business of coal gasification to produce syngas, ammonia & nitric acid as intermediate products and ammonium nitrate as an end product.
Shri Debashish Nanda, Director Business Development, CIL & Chairman BCGCL, and Shri Jai Kumar Srivastava, Director (Engg., R&D), BHEL and Vice Chairman, BCGCL were present on the occasion.
