Coal India Surpasses FY26 GeM Procurement Target, Achieves 114% Ahead of Year-End

Kolkata: Coal India Limited (CIL) has exceeded its procurement target through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform for the financial year 2025–26. The company has achieved procurement worth approximately Rs 61,891 crore so far, surpassing its annual target of Rs 54,223 crore.

With this performance, Coal India has reached 114 per cent of its full-year GeM procurement target even before the close of the financial year. The achievement highlights the company’s strong adoption of the GeM platform and its commitment to transparent and efficient public procurement practices.
