Shri Pralhad Joshi,Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines said that Coal India has surpassed last year’s production to achieve a record 85.4 MT coal production . He directed officials to coordinate with railways for improving rake availability . Coal stock at thermal power plants are on the rise. With more than 30 MT coal stock available, TPPs will continue to receive increased coal supplies.
