In line with its plans for the proposed listing of its subsidiaries, MCL and SECL, Coal India organized an IPO Readiness Programme in Kolkata in collaboration with the National Stock Exchange (NSE) to equip its leadership teams with vital insights into capital market expectations, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance best practices. The interactive session, led by Shri Krishnan Iyer, Senior Vice President of NSE, underscored Coal India’s commitment to strengthening institutional capabilities, fostering robust corporate governance, and enhancing strategic market readiness through knowledge sharing. The high-level programme saw active participation from top leadership, including Coal India Chairman Shri B. Sairam, Director (Finance) Shri Mukesh Agrawal, Director (Business Development) Shri Asheesh Kumar, CMD of MCL, CMD of SECL Shri Uday A.
