A joint Venture Company between CIL and GAIL was incorporated in the name of Coal Gas India Limited (CGIL) for setting up Coal to Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) Project at Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL), Bardhaman, West Bengal.
Inauguration of office at VT Centre Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal has taken place. The inauguration ceremony was completed by tree plantation by Sh. Debasish Nanda (Director-CIL and Chairman-CGIL) and Sh. Rajeev Kumar Singhal (Director (BD)-GAIL and Vice Chairman-CGIL) followed by site visit.
