Coal India Chairman Shri P M Prasad, conducted a comprehensive review of mining operations, production strategies, and sustainability initiatives at South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) during his visit on March 22-23, 2025. The visit aimed at evaluating the progress of SECL’s megaprojects and Central India Coalfields (CIC) while setting the roadmap for future growth. Shri Prasad began his visit at the Dipka Megaproject, where he inspected key operational sites, including outsourcing and departmental patches, the First Mile Connectivity (FMC) system, silos, and railway sidings. He interacted with officers and shift in-charges, encouraging them to enhance production in the final days of March and discussing the action plan for the financial year 2025-26.
