Coal India and IRCON Partner to Strengthen Rail Infrastructure for Efficient Coal Transportation

Coal India Limited (CIL) has entered into a strategic partnership with IRCON International Limited to develop and upgrade rail infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing coal evacuation and transportation efficiency. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect was signed by Shri Achyut Ghatak, Director (Technical), CIL, and Shri Ajit Kumar Mishra, Director (Works), IRCON, in the presence of Shri P.M. Prasad, Chairman, CIL, along with senior officials from both organizations. Under this collaboration, IRCON will provide its technical expertise to conceptualize, plan, design, execute, and maintain rail infrastructure projects from concept to commissioning, reinforcing CIL’s commitment to improving logistics and ensuring seamless coal movement across the country.
