Sh R.K. Chaudhary, CMD, NHPC along with Executive Director (SBD&C) had a series of meetings at Raipur (Chhattisgarh) with senior officials including Chief Secretary, Pr. Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office, Secretary (Water Resources Department) and Secretary (Energy), Govt. of Chhattisgarh regarding development of Pump Storage Projects in the State. During the meetings CMD, NHPC apprised the officials about the NHPC’s strength in Hydro power Sector of the country. He also briefed them about the studies being done by NHPC on self-identified PSP sites in the State and requested the Chhattisgarh government to allot some of the PSP sites to NHPC for further development. The response of all the offices was very positive regarding allotment of Pump Storage projects in the State to NHPC
