NEW DELHI. Dr. R Balasubramaniam, Member–HR at the Capacity Building Commission (CBC), visited the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Academy to engage with its leadership and understand its training methodology and organizational development framework.
During the visit, Dr. Balasubramaniam reviewed the Academy’s innovative practices, including its use of simulation-based training for metro pilots. The DMRC Academy, which currently holds a Three-Star rating under the NSCSTI framework, has consistently demonstrated improvements in training quality.
He encouraged the Academy to share select training modules on the iGOT platform, contribute case studies to the Amrit Gyaan Kosh, and pursue re-accreditation under the NSCSTI framework to drive continued excellence. Emphasizing the importance of knowledge sharing, he urged the institution to disseminate its best practices widely across the capacity building ecosystem.
The visit also paved the way for exploring future collaboration between CBC and DMRC Academy in training design and knowledge exchange. The Commission extended its sincere appreciation to Mr. Ghansham Bansal, Dean, DMRC Academy, and his team for their warm hospitality and dedicated efforts in enhancing public service training.
