NEW DELHI. The fourth edition of the Bharat CPSEs’ Consultative Conclave was inaugurated at Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Vadodara, on September 24 by the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) in collaboration with the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Ministry of Finance. Held under Mission Karmayogi, the three-day conclave brings together over 26 senior officers from 15 Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), along with experts from industry, academia, government and GSV. The discussions focus on transportation, logistics, infrastructure, project and asset management, in line with the Gati Shakti component of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Sapta Dhara” vision for Viksit Bharat.
The conclave aims to promote cross-learning and develop practical solutions to challenges faced by CPSEs through collaboration among government, industry and academia. Its outcomes will include knowledge briefs, a Bharat CPSE Compendium and a Reform Agenda to support evidence-based policymaking and reforms. During the inaugural session, CBC and GSV also announced ‘Kshamta SANGAM’, a joint initiative to leverage academic expertise and innovation for capacity building and evidence-based governance, with GSV becoming the first academic institution to join the proposed national initiative.
