Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund mobilises over ₹1,200 crore* across two thematic fund launches

Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund ₹1,200 crore

Strong investor response to ESG fund and Services Fund underscores growing interest in long-term thematic investing

India, August 6, 2026: Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund mobilised over ₹1,200 crore across its two thematic fund launches in 2026. The Baroda BNP Paribas ESG Best-in-Class Strategy Fund and the Baroda BNP Paribas Services Fund. The recently concluded Services Fund New Fund Offer (NFO) garnered over ₹590 crores*, following the successful ₹640 crores* mobilisation by the Baroda BNP Paribas ESG Best-in-Class Strategy Fund earlier this financial year.

Together, the two launches attracted applications across more than 5,700 pin codes*, reflecting broad-based participation from investors seeking differentiated equity strategies built around India’s long-term growth opportunities.

“The response to our ESG Fund and Services Fund reflects the growing maturity of Indian investors, who are increasingly looking beyond broad market exposure towards investment opportunities driven by long-term structural trends. At Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund, our endeavour is to build differentiated investment solutions that are backed by rigorous research and active fund management, helping investors participate in India’s evolving growth story. We remain committed to expanding our product suite thoughtfully while staying focused on delivering long-term value to our investors.” – Sanjay Grover, MD & CEO, Baroda BNP Paribas Asset Management (India) Pvt Ltd.

The two funds represent distinct yet complementary long-term investment opportunities. While the Baroda BNP Paribas ESG Best-in-Class Strategy Fund focuses on companies with strong environmental, social and governance practices, the Baroda BNP Paribas Services Fund aims to capture opportunities arising from India’s expanding services economy.

India’s services sector continues to be the country’s largest contributor to Gross Value Added (GVA), supported by structural trends such as digitalisation, financial inclusion, healthcare expansion, technology adoption, logistics, travel, hospitality and rising consumer spending. These trends are expected to continue shaping India’s economic growth over the coming years.

Our parent companies, Bank of Baroda and BNP Paribas Asset Management Asia Limited, bring strong ESG credentials and a shared commitment to responsible investing. Their combined legacy and global expertise strengthen the fund’s approach to integrating ESG considerations and creating long-term value.
