SCOPE Director General Atul Sobti Calls for Human-Machine Synergy and People-Centric Leadership at HR Conclave

Atul Sobti Human-Machine Synergy Industry 5.0

NEW DELHI. Addressing the National HR Conclave on “Workforce Renaissance: The People-Centric Future of Industry,” Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) Director General Atul Sobti emphasized that industrial transformation in the era of Industry 5.0 must remain deeply centered around human talent. He noted that navigating automation, artificial intelligence, shifting demographics, and dynamic workforce mobility requires technology to work alongside human intellect in a collaborative synergy rather than replacing workers.

Aligning with the International Labour Organization’s vision and India’s progressive Labour Codes and apprenticeship initiatives, he highlighted that workforce empowerment depends on effective policy implementation, continuous knowledge dissemination, and upholding the fundamental dignity of labor.

Shri Sobti further emphasized that modern HR professionals must evolve beyond traditional administrative functions to become empathetic leaders, architects of organizational trust, champions of inclusive innovation, and experts fluent in both policy and technological advancements. He stressed that long-term enterprise success belongs to organizations that successfully harmonize human capability with advanced technology to build an innovative, profitable, and human-centric future.

The conclave featured active insight exchanges among key industry leaders, including GMA President and AKGIM Director Dr. T. R. Pandey, GMA Executive Director Rahul Agrawal, and former ITI HR Director S. P. Gupta, alongside academic partners from KIET.
