New Delhi: General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff, along with a delegation of Military Chiefs from countries contributing troops to United Nations peacekeeping missions, visited the Delhi Metro to gain insights into its world-class infrastructure and operational excellence.
During the visit, Anuj Dayal, Principal Executive Director (Corporate Communications), Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), briefed the delegation on the metro’s technological advancements, safety systems, and sustainable practices. The visit highlighted Delhi Metro’s role as a model of modern urban transport and its contribution to India’s commitment to sustainable and efficient public mobility.
