Bal Bhavan Public School, Mayur Vihar-II, is a well-known educational institution located in Mayur  Vihar Phase-II, Delhi, India established in 1967, making it along standing educational establishment in the area.

The school has a reputation for maintaining a high standard of education and fostering creativity among its students. With the guidance and leadership of its Founding Father Late Shri GC Lagan, School’s Director Shri BB Gupta and Principal Mr. Vividh Gupta, the school has continued to excel in various fields, including academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.

Recently, the school witnessed a grand celebration of art and science as it inaugurated its much-awaited Annual Exhibition, “The Odyssey,” on August 4th, 2023. The event showcased an impressive array of artistic talents and scientific innovations, leaving the audience spellbound.

The prestigious event was graced by Sh. N Ramdas Iyer, (Director, National Science Centre, Delhi), Dr. Surya Kant Prasad (DDE, Zone-II, East Delhi), Mr. Rakesh Tripathi (Education Officer, NSCD), Shri Ramesh Kandpal (Convenor at Akhil Bhartiya Anuvrat Nyas), Shri BB Gupta (School’s Director), Sh. G.S. Grover (School’s Chairman), Smt. Rachna Gupta (Principal, Bal Bhavan Public School, Swasthya Vihar), Mr. Vividh Gupta (School’s Principal), Ms. Kavita Mehrotra (School’s Headmistress) and Ms. Neha Gupta (Head Senior Wing),
their presence added an extra layer of inspiration to the exhibition.

The “Odyssey” exhibition featured a captivating display of student artwork,ranging from paintings and sculptures to multimedia installations, showcasing the students’ creativity and imaginative prowess. The art section of the exhibition also highlighted the importance of art education in fostering critical thinking and emotional expression.

Moreover, the science section of the exhibition presented a series of innovative projects and experiments that demonstrated the students’ ingenuity and scientific acumen. From robotics and renewable energy models to cutting-edge research projects, the scientific displays left the audience amazed at the potential of these young minds.

The Principal of Bal Bhavan Public School, Mr. Vividh Gupta, expressed his gratitude towards the guests and the entire school community for their relentless efforts in making “The Odyssey” a resounding success. He emphasized the significance of such exhibitions in nurturing well-rounded individuals who are equipped to make a positive impact on society.

As the curtains ended on the first day of the exhibition a thrilling rocket launch brought an air of excitement to the event. The awe-inspiring sight of the rocket soaring into the sky left the audience captivated and inspired to reach for the stars.Thus, the excitement and anticipation for the upcoming days were palpable. With a promising start, “The Odyssey” is set to continue its magical journey of art and science exploration until its conclusion on August 7th, 2023.
