Ministry of Steel assigned the additional charge of CMD to Amitava Mukherjee; the senior most Board-member and Director (Finance), NMDC. The CMD post fell vacant after the erstwhile CMD Sumit Deb retired on February 28, 2023.
PESB has already scheduled interview for selection of the next CMD of NMDC in this week on march 18-2023.
