The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has has signed an agreement with Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) India to provide communication, navigation, surveillance and air traffic management services at Neyveli airport.
The Agreement was signed by Sh.S. Swaminathan, GM (ATM-ATS), AAI and Sh.A. Kuppusami, Chief GM, M/s. NLC, in the presence of Sh. Venkateshwar L, Officiating RED (SR) and other senior officials of AAI.
The airport is being developed under RCS scheme UDAN, aimed to connect the unserved and under-served regions of the country thereby making air travel affordable for the common man.
