Smt. Rupinder Brar, Additional Secretary, Govt. of India, Ministry of Coal, met Chairman CoalIndia at Coal India’s headquarters in Kolkata and discussions were held on various issues pertaining to production and productivity. Smt. Rupinder Brar, Additional Secretary/CVO, Coal, reviewed the preventive vigilance activities of #CoalIndia at the company’s Corporate Office in Kolkata. Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, Chief Vigilance Officer, CIL along with his team, was present in the meeting.
Earlier, in the day she visited Premashray, a residential facility of Tata Medical Centre for cancer patients and their family members, in Kolkata. There, she interacted with the patients and distributed nutrition hampers to them. Notably, Coal India has contributed Rs. 41.11 crore for the complete construction of Premashray. Shri Vinay Ranjan, Director (P&IR), CIL accompanied her during the visit.
Smt. Brar also interacted with the HR team of Coal India at the Corporate Office and gained an understanding of the HR & CSR policies and practices of the company.
