Bengaluru, 16 September 2025: ACC, the cement and building materials company of the diversified Adani Portfolio, along with the Adani Foundation, is empowering rural youth in Jharia through industry-relevant skills training. One such example is Avinash Singh, a 21-year-old who turned adversity into opportunity after completing the Assistant Electrician course at the Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC) in 2024.

Following the untimely passing of his father, the sole earner of the family, Avinash stepped up to support his family. Through the structured training provided by the ACC supported ASDC, he gained hands-on experience in electrical work and developed the confidence to launch his own business.

Today, Avinash runs a successful electronic and automobile repair shop in Jharia market, earning approximately ₹10,000 per month. His story reflects how focused skilling programs backed by corporate commitment can equip young people to build sustainable livelihoods and inspire community-wide transformation.

By investing in local talent and entrepreneurship, ACC is enabling self-reliance and economic stability in underserved regions, one skill and one success story at a time.
