Bengaluru, 8 May 2025: ACC, the cement and building material company of the diversified Adani Portfolio, along with the Adani Foundation, is nurturing employability for rural youth through its Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC) in Gagal. Focused on building capabilities among local youth, the centre offers industry-relevant courses that lead to meaningful employment, particularly for young women from rural communities.

For 19-year-old Payal from Alsu village, the journey was personal. Having lost her father, she needed a way to support her family. After completing her 10+2, she enrolled in a 3-month Retail Sales Associate course. Today, she is employed at 24SEVEN in Panchkula, earning a monthly salary of Rs. 18,000 and undergoing further training to advance her career. Her mother proudly shares how Payal’s new role has brought hope and stability to the family.

Payal’s story is one of many which reflect how ACC and Adani Foundation’s skill development initiatives are not just about training—they are about transforming lives. By bridging the gap between education and employment, the centre is opening new doors for a brighter, self-reliant future.
