Bengaluru, 7th March 2025: AbhiBus (ixigo bus business), India’s leading bus ticketing platform, is now facilitating bookings for India’s first women-only intercity bus service, launched by YoloBus. The YoloBus service, exclusive for women, will operate on the Gurgaon-Chandigarh route starting 8th March.
Launching on International Women’s Day, YoloBus aims to offer a safer and more convenient travel experience for female passengers, with a female conductor onboard to provide added assistance and comfort.

Over the last three months, we have seen a 54% YoY increase in bookings by female travellers, with solo female traveller bookings up by 50% YoY. The launch of the women-only YoloBus service aligns with our ongoing efforts to empower female travellers, including our Pink Seat feature, which reserves dedicated seats for women across multiple routes.”
