The Airports Authority of India (AAI) today launched a four-day Domestic Slot Conference, crucial for finalizing the Summer 2025 schedule, spanning from March 30th to October 25th, 2025. This vital event gathers representatives from airlines, airport operators, and key aviation stakeholders to allocate slots and tackle operational challenges, with the goal of improving air traffic management.
The conference was inaugurated by Sh. Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, IAS, DG, DGCA India, along with Sh. Vipin Kumar, Chairman AAI. Also present were Dr. Sharad Kumar, Member (Operations), AAI, and Sh. S. S. Raju, Executive Director (Operations), AAI.
The conference promotes collaborative efforts between AAI, the Indian Air Force, the Indian Navy, airlines, and other airports. Its focus is on efficient slot management and seamless operations to ensure optimal performance during the busy summer travel season. Participants will work together to optimize flight schedules and address potential bottlenecks, contributing to a smoother and more reliable air travel experience for passengers.
