RISHIKESH. THDC India Limited (THDCIL), a Mini-Ratna Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, is actively observing the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva (SHS) 2026 campaign from 17 September to 2 October 2026 across its project locations and offices.
The campaign reaffirms the organisation’s strong commitment to cleanliness, hygiene, environmental awareness and meaningful community participation.
Shri Sipan Kumar Garg, Managing Director, THDCIL, underlined that cleanliness is a shared responsibility and a collective endeavour. He emphasised the need for sustained awareness, responsible practices and active participation from both institutions and communities. Initiatives such as Swachhata Hi Seva, he noted, provide an important platform to translate the values of cleanliness and hygiene into real action while fostering a culture of responsible behaviour. Sustained efforts in this direction, he added, are essential for creating healthier communities and advancing the broader goals of sustainable development.
