NEW DELHI. The Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) has received the Institution of Engineers (India) Industry Excellence Award 2026 – Gold in the Engineering Manufacturing and Processing category, recognising its engineering excellence, modern manufacturing capabilities and indigenous innovation in assistive technology. CMD Shri Praveen Kumar said the award acknowledges the collective efforts of ALIMCO and will encourage further adoption of new technologies and development of quality assistive solutions for Divyangjan and senior citizens. The recognition marks another milestone in ALIMCO’s efforts to strengthen manufacturing and advance assistive technology.
