NEW DELHI. Delhi Metro International Limited (DMIL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), is set to make its global debut at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin, one of the world’s leading international trade fairs for the rail transport industry. DMIL will showcase its capabilities in operations and maintenance (O&M), consultancy, project management and advisory services, while engaging with global transit authorities, infrastructure companies, technology providers and mobility stakeholders.
Leveraging the experience of the Delhi Metro, which operates a network of more than 416 km with over 300 stations and nearly 6.5 million passenger boardings daily, DMIL aims to take its expertise in integrated urban mobility to international markets. Its services span the complete project lifecycle—from feasibility studies, planning and implementation to testing, commissioning, operations, maintenance, asset management and capacity building—positioning the company to support cities seeking efficient, sustainable and future-ready transport solutions.
The international expansion marks a significant new chapter for DMIL, which has submitted five international bids in the past three months and is actively exploring opportunities across West Asia and select European markets, with North America and Africa also under consideration. Africa remains an important potential growth region, with DMIL looking to pursue opportunities through partnerships with established local companies and the Union Government. Speaking ahead of InnoTrans 2026, DMIL CEO Sanjay Jamuar said the platform would provide an opportunity to showcase DMRC and DMIL’s expertise, build meaningful global partnerships, learn from international best practices and contribute to the development of efficient and sustainable.
