MUMBAI: Ms. Srividya Venkataraman has assumed charge as Director (Finance) of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), bringing with her more than three decades of experience in the energy sector. A seasoned finance professional, she has extensive expertise in corporate finance, treasury management, risk management, taxation, investor relations, capital markets and business finance. Her appointment comes at a significant time as HPCL advances its growth strategy and energy transition initiatives, further strengthening the company’s financial leadership and long-term strategic capabilities.
Prior to joining HPCL, Ms. Venkataraman served as Executive Director (Finance) at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), where she played a pivotal role in strengthening the company’s financial framework through treasury management, capital optimisation and strategic financing initiatives. A Chartered Accountant and Cost & Works Accountant, she also contributed significantly to flagship programmes such as Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, while driving governance and digital transformation efforts. Widely respected for her financial acumen and strategic vision, she leaves behind a distinguished legacy at BPCL as she embarks on her new leadership role at HPCL.
