KOLKATA. Shri Gurdeep Singh, CMD of NTPC, has been given additional charge as Chairman of Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) effective June 1, 2026. He visited DVC Headquarters in Kolkata and reviewed operations.During the visit, Shri Singh interacted with DVC senior management to understand ongoing initiatives and the future roadmap of the organisation. Key discussions focused on power generation, transmission systems, and operational efficiency. He also met representatives of employees’ unions, who extended their greetings on his assumption of additional charge.
