NTPC Limited has signed a non-binding MoU with Électricité de France (EDF) to explore collaboration in developing nuclear power projects in India, focusing on feasibility studies, adoption of EDF’s EPR technology, localisation opportunities, and capacity building, as part of NTPC’s strategy to expand clean and reliable energy and strengthen long-term energy security.
The MoU was signed by Mr Arnada Prasad Samal, CGM (Nuclear Cell), on behalf of NTPC and Mr Vakisasi Ramany, Senior Vice President, International Nuclear Development, on behalf of EDF.
