NEW DELHI. The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) delegation met with Ms. Mugdha Sinha, Managing Director of India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), comprising Ms. Shalini S Sharma, Assistant Secretary General; Ms. Sulagna Ghosh, Secretary; and Mr. Sanchit Prabhakar, Joint Secretary, on 27 March 2026 at her office in New Delhi. The discussion focused on upcoming initiatives for 2026–27, including strengthening wedding tourism, skill development in the hospitality sector, and fostering industry–government collaborations to boost India’s tourism industry. Ms. Sinha expressed her support for these initiatives and showed interest in exploring partnerships to promote sustainable and inclusive growth in Indian tourism.
