NEW DELHI. Union Minister for Civil Aviation Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu officially handed over the DGCA-issued aerodrome licence to Noida International Airport at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. This milestone marks a critical advancement for the greenfield project, bringing it significantly closer to full operational status.
During the event, the Minister expressed satisfaction with the project’s progress and held strategic discussions with the airport operator to expedite remaining formalities. The focus remains on ensuring the early commencement of flight services. Once operational, the airport is expected to bolster regional connectivity and economic growth, serving as a key aviation hub for Northern India and easing the pressure on existing infrastructure.
