NEW DELHI. Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) marked International Women’s Day 2026 in New Delhi with the theme Give to Gain, celebrating the vital role of women in the sustainable energy sector. The event, attended by CMD Shri Pradip Kumar Das and Director (Finance) Dr. Bijay Kumar Mohanty, featured Chief Guest Ms. Anu Sethi from FEV India, who led sessions on mindfulness and work-life balance. CMD Das highlighted that women make up 23% of IREDA’s workforce—one of the highest figures among CPSEs—and urged the adoption of a 3R approach—Recognise, Respect, and Reflect—to further strengthen workplace equality. The celebration uniquely included the mothers and spouses of employees, fostering a sense of extended family and reinforcing the organization’s fourth consecutive year of commitment to fostering an inclusive corporate culture.
