An award function was organized at the Sintering Plant-III (SP-III) conference hall on 19th December, 2025 to award contract labour under the Instant Award Recognition Scheme. Mr. Kalyan Samajdar, GM In-Charge (SP–III) presided over the function and presented awards to 20 contract labour engaged in the department for their in recognition of their hard work, dedication and notable contributions to the plant’s performance. The programme was attended by Mr. Anugrah Ekka, GM (Mechanical), Mr. Kameshwar Singh, GM (Electrical), Mr. Saubhagya Kumar Mohanty, GM (Operations), Mr. Vigyan Patra, Deputy Manager, HR (CLC), along with other executives of Sintering Plant–III.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Samajdar appreciated the awardees for their dedicated and sincere efforts during capital repairs, scheduled shutdowns, critical operations, maintenance and housekeeping activities, while consistently adhering to safe working practices. He lauded the contractual workforce as true “partners in progress” of Sintering Plant–III.
