Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Defence PSU Bhavan, a state-of-the-art facility at the World Trade Centre in New Delhi, designed as a collaborative hub for all 16 Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSUs). The Bhavan aims to strengthen innovation, coordination, and synergy in defence manufacturing through advanced conference halls, display zones, and AR/VR-based simulation rooms. During the event, Singh chaired a review meeting with DPSU heads and felicitated Munitions India Limited, Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited, India Optel Limited, and Hindustan Shipyard Limited for attaining **Miniratna (Category-I)** status. He praised the DPSUs as pillars of Aatmanirbhar Bharat, highlighting India’s record defence production of ₹1.51 lakh crore in FY 2024–25—of which DPSUs contributed over 71%—and defence exports worth ₹6,695 crore, reflecting growing global confidence in indigenous systems.
