NEW DELHI. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the Nokh Solar Park of Rajasthan Solar Park Development Company Limited (RSDCL) at Phalodi, Rajasthan on September 25,2025, where NTPC is developing 735 MW of solar capacity.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for the ASHVINI’s Mahi Banswara Rajasthan Atomic Power Project (MBRAPP) – 4X700 MW at Banswara, Rajasthan. With an investment of around ?42,000 crore, this project will emerge as one of the largest nuclear power plants in the country, providing reliable base-load energy and reinforcing India’s leadership in environmental stewardship and the evolving nuclear energy landscape.
Nokh Solar Park (925 MW) , RE project will significantly contribute to India’s clean energy capacity, generating substantial amounts of green power while avoiding millions of tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year undertaken by NTPC Northern Region Headquarters. In addition to strengthening energy security, they will also spur economic growth by creating thousands of direct and indirect employment opportunities.
