September 8, 2025, Bengaluru: Kellanova, formerly known as Kellogg’s, has welcomed the government’s recent GST rate reduction, calling it a progressive step that brings direct relief to consumers while giving a positive boost to industry.
The company has already begun the packaging changes to reflect reduced MRPs to pass on the benefits as soon as possible. Its packaging and supply chain have also been aligned for a transition by September 22, which is operationally challenging.

We thank the government for this forward-looking decision that enables industry to pass on greater value to consumers. There will be challenges in making such a quick transition, but by working with the right intent and with the support of the Govt. and our customer partners we hope to make this transition quickly.”
