The renovated East and West Wings of 3rd Floor in the Administrative Building that house the Vigilance, HR-General Administration and Finance Departments of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) was inaugurated by Mr. Tarun Misra, ED (HR) on 30th July, 2025. Mr. Anil Kumar, ED (MM), Mr. M P Singh, ED (Mines), Mr. Subrata Praharaj, CGM (Vigilance) & ACVO, many CGMs, Senior Officers and employees of Vigilance, HR, and Finance Department were present on the occasion.
The ED (HR) along with the Senior Officers went around the upgraded facilities and appreciated the improved work environment. He encouraged the collective to make the best use of the modernized infrastructure to boost efficiency and productivity.
Notably, the upgraded wings now feature modern amenities designed to enhance operational efficiency. The Vigilance Wing has been upgraded with a modern Conference Hall, Four New Rooms besides upgrading of the existing rooms of the executives. Both the East and West wings have been given a facelift with modernized corridor/lobby, false ceilings, enhanced lighting, elegant floor and wall paneling/tiling, and concealed electrical wiring. Further improvements include fully repaired and freshly modified doors and windows fitted with new glass panes, structures, and modern door closers—creating a cleaner and more professional working environment.
