RISHIKESH. As part of its 38th Foundation Day celebrations, THDC India Limited (THDCIL) proudly recognized and honoured its exceptional employees and leaders whose dedication, innovation, and relentless service have significantly contributed to the organization’s growth. The award ceremony stood as a powerful message of appreciation for those serving not only in headquarters but also in remote and difficult terrains where THDCIL’s projects thrive.
In his address, Shri R. K. Vishnoi, CMD , emphasized the vital role of the workforce across all regions, stating, “Every individual working in remote locations—from high-altitude hydropower stations to remote thermal project sites—is the real strength of THDCIL. Today, we honour those whose efforts inspire us to reach higher every year.”

The highlight of the day was the Naman Award, presented to Shri D. V. Singh, former CMD of THDCIL. This award celebrated his visionary leadership and foundational contribution to the company’s growth trajectory.
