NTPC Kawas has inaugurated a state-of-the-art STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) laboratory at Pinjarat Government Primary School as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. Equipped with over 80 advanced models, the lab aims to foster scientific curiosity, enhance intellectual growth and prepare students for careers in science, engineering and research.
During the inauguration, Shri Suresh John David, Project Head (Kawas), emphasised the importance of hands-on learning in shaping young minds. Developed by Experifun, a Bengaluru-based agency, the initiative also includes training for teachers across 13 schools in the Pinjarat cluster to ensure its long-term impact.
Teachers and students expressed their enthusiasm for the new facility, highlighting how it will transform theoretical learning into practical experience. Shri Takhat Bhai Patel,
