Mr. Atanu Bhowmick, Director-in-Charge (DIC) inaugurated a Wi-Fi-enabled advanced facility at the Learning & Development (L&D) Centre of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on 26th December, 2024. The state-of-the-art, in-house developed system is designed to conduct online quiz programs and business simulation games with robust security features to protect its database.
Mr. Bhowmick also launched a new management quiz series for senior executives, titled ‘Gyan Sarathi.’ The DIC, along with senior executives including Mr. Alok Verma, ED In-Charge (Works), Mr. Biswaranjan Palai, ED (Operations), Mr. Anil Kumar, ED (MM), Mr. M.P. Singh, ED (Mines), and other senior officers, participated in the inaugural edition of the business quiz. The event was moderated by quiz master Mr. Sampad Mishra, AGM (Coke Ovens).
Several CGMs and senior officers of the plant were present on the occasion. Ms. Chaitali Das, GM In-Charge (HR-L&D), welcomed the gathering, while Ms. Arnnapurna Behera, Senior Manager (HR-L&D), coordinated the event.
The latest feature marks another step forward in enhancing employee engagement and knowledge-sharing initiatives at RSP.
