NTPC Bongaigaon, in collaboration with the Divisional Forest Office, Kokrajhar, organized a wildlife awareness program at the Chakrashila Wildlife Sanctuary during Wildlife Week. The event aimed to promote wildlife conservation among local communities and students, featuring talks by dignitaries like Shri J.K. Brahma, DFO, and Shri Akhilesh Singh, Head of NTPC Bongaigaon. Highlights included a lecture by wildlife expert Shri Sanatan Deka and activities such as a quiz and drawing competition for 160 students. The program emphasized NTPC’s environmental initiatives, including planting 2.5 lakh trees, and inspired participants to protect the region’s biodiversity.
