Shri Himanshu Jain assumed the charge as Chief Vigilance Officer at South East Central Railway (SECL) on September 13, 2024. A 2007 batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers, he previously served as Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer in South East Central Railway, Bilaspur. Shri Jain holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Raipur, and a Master’s degree in Microelectronics & VLSI from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT Bombay). He joined the Indian Railway Service by clearing the UPSC Engineering Services Examination and has extensive experience in various roles within the railway sector, having been awarded the ‘National Railway Award’ for outstanding service in 2016.
