MSME ecosystem in Telangana, TEJAS (Telangana entrepreneur Journey for Accelerating Success) was launched on August 28, 2024 with the signing of a MoU NSIC and Telangana to promote, aid and foster the growth of micro, small and medium enterprises in Telangana. NSIC facilitates MSMEs with a set of specially tailored schemes to enhance their competitiveness. NSIC provides integrated support services under Marketing, Technology, Finance and other Support services. NSIC supports MSMEs with Raw Material Assistance, Bill Discounting, Single Point Registration, Digital Facilitation, Credit facilitation and also facilitate materials testing and provides skill development trainings in its training centres located in the country as one in Hyderabad, in order to cater to the needs of skilled manpower of MSME Sector and to build entrepreneurship.
Under the MoU, District Industries Centers located in 33 districts of Telangana State shall promote the schemes of NSIC among the MSMEs in their districts and also collaborate with NSIC for skill development activities.
